At the age of 25, Dr. Dominique Fradin-Read opened her first practice in the south of France after graduating summa cum laude from medical school and finishing a residency in internal medicine at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. She soon understood that her true passions were prevention and anti-aging, and she decided to enhance her education in these fields by completing a two-year fellowship program in preventive and lifestyle medicine at France's University of Aix-Marseille. Dr. Fradin-Read quickly became a leading advocate of preventive aging and regenerative medicine in Europe, adding yet another specialization later when she completed a fellowship in cardiovascular preventive medicine. She served as a consulting physician and associate faculty member in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Vascular Medicine at the University Hospital Center Trousseau in Tours (France). She actively worked on the development of cardiovascular and metabolic prevention programs in collaboration with the French Association of Cardiology and the French Committee for Health Promotion and Education. For several years she was associated with one of Europe's major medical spas, serving both as its medical advisor and as a practicing anti-aging physician. After moving to the United States in 1999, Dr. Fradin-Read completed an internship in Internal Medicine through UC San Francisco and a residency in Preventive Medicine at Loma Linda University where she concurrently earned a Master of Public Health degree and was elected a member of Delta Omega, the public health national honor society. Dr. Fradin-Read is board-certified in Preventive Medicine and, in addition, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She spent several years as a staff physician and a faculty member at the Center for Health Promotion in Loma Linda where she was actively involved in the lifestyle, hormone, and weight management program. She currently holds an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Dr. Fradin-Read served for several years as a consulting physician for the Murad Medical Group in El Segundo where she collaborated closely with renowned dermatologist Dr Howard Murad to implement the new anti-aging concept of beauty from the inside out (the idea that, in order to look young and beautiful, we need to optimize general health). In 2009 Dr Fradin-Read joined LifeSpan Medicine in Santa Monica as the group was expanding in the field of integrative medicine. She worked as staff physician for the group until recently when she decided that it was time for her to achieve her dream of opening her own practice in the U.S. where she could offer her patients a broader spectrum of treatments. These now include wellness and preventive aging programs that combine lifestyle interventions, personalized internal supplementation and hormones, and an innovative European cosmetic rejuvenating therapy.
