Fundamental & Essential

Our garden and vegetable blend provides vitamins & minerals along with vital carotenoids and polyphenols for cellular health and renewal.

Spinach: Loaded with more potassium than a banana, this powerful green provides high amounts of non-heme iron, calcium and magnesium, vitamins K, C and A.

Carrot: Carrots are high in carotenoids, like alpha and beta-carotene. These antioxidant compounds protect cells throughout the body and convert in the liver to make Vitamin A. Lutein and zeaxanthin are 2 of these compounds, known for their eye protective qualities. Cabbage: Cabbages contain phytochemicals called indoles which protect us from carcinogens and toxins. Another potent phytochemical found is sulforaphane, which produce a potent phase-2 enzyme which “disarms” and fights free radicals. Also, a major source of Vitamins C, & K, Calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

Parsley: Loaded with chlorophyll, parsley also contains myristicin, known to inhibit tumor growth. This common herb is used in some cultures to help with lowering blood glucose and supports the kidney tissue as it acts as a mild diuretic. Celery Seed: This tiny seed is packed full of minerals such as potassium, calcium, manganese, magnesium, zinc, and iron. These minerals help support bone development and healthy red blood cells. Celery seed extract has also shown to be a natural antibacterial and has antioxidant properties. Beets: This blood building and liver loving root veggie is a reliable source of folate, niacin, pantothenic acid, Vitamin B6, iron, magnesium, and manganese.

Tomato: These berries (yes really) are known for the high content of the carotenoid lycopene. There is strong clinical evidence suggesting that lycopene helps protect against cellular damage specifically for heart tissue. They are also high in Vitamins C, A and B’s. Brussels sprout: This member of the cabbage family is high in isothiocyanates and sulforaphane which are compounds known to prohibit cellular proliferation and combat carcinogens.

Preservation & Longevity

Fruits provide antioxidants for a healthy brain and protection for the cardiovascular system.

Lemon: Lemons are a major source of Vitamin C and phytochemicals called limonoids, specifically, limonene and limonin. Getting adequate Vitamin C in our diets is crucial for collagen formation, and for the manufacturing of hemoglobin, which carries oxygen through the bloodstream.

Apple: Apples provides an extensive list of powerful phytochemicals, including the flavonoid quercetin, known to have cardiovascular protective qualities as well as boosting immune response and lowering inflammation. This fruit is loaded with antioxidants, making it a vital tool in protecting against oxidative stress.

Tart Cherry: Tart and sour cherry varieties are filled with antioxidant compounds such as ellagic acid which has shown to be both anticarcinogenic and antimutagenic. Cherries also have high concentrations of anthocyanins; this is what gives the fruit its bright color. These anthocyanins are natural COX-2 inhibitors which fight against pain and inflammation.

Raspberry: Raspberries are best known for their considerable amounts of ellagic acid, which has shown to promote apoptosis of irregular cells. They also contain anthocyanins, which inhibit COX-2 and help fight inflammation and pain.

Pomegranate: Pomegranates are rich in antioxidants and polyphenolic compounds that offer protection against free radicals and oxidative stress. Beloved for their juice, this ancient fruit provides nutrients such as iron, magnesium, manganese, and Vitamins C and K making this a heart-healthy and cardiovascular super fruit.

Blueberry: Blueberries are touted as the memory superfood, packed with polyphenols, they have the highest ORAC value of any food in the world. Which simply means they are antioxidant heroes that offer brain health benefits and protection for the cardiovascular system.

Purification & Restoration

Designed to purify and protect the liver with powerful phytochemicals that bind to pollutants and provide our bodies with detoxification support.

Spirulina: This nutrient dense super food is high in protein, iron, and calcium as well as containing gamma-linolenic acid an essential fatty acid that offers anti-inflammatory properties. Other nutrients found are beta-carotene, copper, selenium, and B vitamins.

Milk Thistle: The key flavonoid found in Milk Thistle is silymarin, which has been used historically for over 2,000 years to support the liver. This compound has been shown to support both liver and kidney cells, aid in digestion, and plays a role in phase II detoxification.

Chlorella: A member of the microalgae family, chlorella is abundant with chlorophyll and nucleic acid, a rich nutrient factor that facilitates our own bodies cellular repair and renewal. The outer cell wall also binds to toxins, heavy metals, and carcinogens, making it a major detoxifier.

Turmeric: One of the most revered plants in Ayurveda, the Indian traditional medicinal system, Turmeric is commonly used to help lower inflammation and supports detoxification. This powerful root extract is also known as a potent antioxidant, offering cellular protection against free radicals.

Dandelion: The root of the beneficial plant, holds a potent compound called taraxacin, which has shown to promote the release of bile from the liver and gall bladder, stimulating digestion. It is commonly used to help support liver detoxification.

Cilantro: High in both Vitamin A and Quercetin, this herb ranks high as antioxidant. There is evidence that it can help remove heavy metals. Cilantro also has antibacterial compounds that studies have shown to help keep the urinary tract healthy.

Broccoli: Sulforaphane, found in Broccoli, is a potent Nrf-2 promoter, which is considered the master switch for over 1000 genes throughout the body. This powerful compound provides cellular protection and is responsible for phase II detoxification enzymes.

Bilberry: Filled with anthocyanins, Bilberry has shown to support vision and eye tissue, improve eye disorders, and may improve liver function. Used since the Middle Ages throughout Europe, this berry is especially high in Vitamin C and E, two powerful antioxidants.

Protection & Focus

Mushrooms are long valued for their many functional benefits, including; immune, energy, vitality, stress response, memory and focus

Lion’s Mane: Hericium erinaceus, clinically, has been used for thousands of years in Asia and in N. America to support digestion and cognitive enhancement. Studies indicate that this mushroom may stimulate the production of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF), which is a specialized protein responsible for the growth of new sensory neurons. It has also shown to help promote the growth of myelin sheath, which is crucial for healthy nerve transmissions. Cordyceps: C. sinensis has several important applications, including improving fatigue, adrenal health, respiratory support, kidney health, and cardiovascular benefits. But this list goes on even further, making it a well-studied and widely used mushroom throughout Asia.

Reishi: One of the most revered mushrooms in Asia, Ganoderma lucidum is mostly used for its immune enhancement support. Several studies show anti-tumor activity as well as increased T cell production. Reishi is also known to be a liver protector, have anti-inflammatory properties and help balance blood sugar levels.

Shiitake: Lentinula Edodes is the second most common edible mushroom in the world and has been used for thousands of years by both Chinese and Japanese royalty as the preferred treatment to combat immune disfunctions. Shiitake yields high amounts of polysaccharides known as 1-3 beta-D-glucan, which are powerful immune boosting compounds.

Maitake: Grifola frondose has been used as an immune modulator for thousands of years in Japan. In clinical use, Maitake has high amounts of beta-1,3 glucan and beta-1,6 glucan, two polysaccharides used in several studies worldwide and its ability to combat irregular cell division.

Harmony & Synergy

Adaptogens support our body's response to stress and helps us to manage fatigue, poor sleep, & anxiety along with overall health and well-being

Ashwagandha: One of the most revered herbs used in Ayurvedic medicine, this adaptogen has been used to help combat the negative effects of stress for over 4000 years. Ashwagandha plays a key role in overall physical and mental health, and has shown to help lower cortisol levels, our main stress hormone, while promoting relaxation.

Maca: Used for thousands of years in the mountains of Peru, Maca is used most frequently to help with promoting energy and stamina. Clinical trials also indicate its ability to increase libido in both men and women. Rhodiola: Rhodiola Rosea is also known as Golden root, grows traditionally in Siberia and has been used for hundreds of years. Studies show this root promotes the production of neurotransmitters, which support mood, memory, and cognitive functioning. Used frequently to moderate mental stress, and fatigue.

Green Tea: Research has shown that Green Tea contains a powerful class of protective antioxidant flavonoids called polyphenol catechins that have been extensively studied and shown to offer superb protection against damaging free radicals.

Ginger: Ginger has been long used medicinally and in cooking to help stimulate digestion and support the secretion of bile from the liver. Studies also show that ginger works in the gut to help support intestinal serotonin receptors, which then encourage healthy bowel motility. Eleuthero/Siberian Ginseng: Known as an adaptogen, Ginseng is often studied for its positive effects on increasing endurance for athletic performance. According to several studies, it shows to enhance exercise output, and elevate cardiovascular functioning.

Regularity & Rhythm

Fiber helps to bind to waste material to assist with detoxification and maintains bowel health

Flax Seed: Flax seeds contain both soluble and insoluble fiber, and are high in omega-3 fatty acids, specifically the essential fatty acid, Alpha-linolenic acid. Soluble fiber breaks down into a gel when passing through the digestive system, which helps to clean arteries and promote a healthy cardiovascular system, while insoluble fiber stays whole and helps maintain a healthy colon, and traps toxins needing to be eliminated.

Banana: Banana’s provide a beneficial gut-feeding ingredient called fructooligiosaccarides (FOS). Also known as a pre-biotic, FOS feeds our good bacteria, helping maintain a healthy gut flora.

Sunflower Seed: These seeds pack in one of the highest amounts of phytosterols, specifically, beta-sitosterol, which has been studied extensively to show its ability to help lower cholesterol and support a healthy prostate. Loaded with nutritive value, sunflower seeds are considered a functional food as they provide beyond basic nutrition.

Jerusalem Artichoke: This root vegetable native to Central America, is high in insoluble and soluble fibers, especially oligo-fructose inulin, a soluble non-starch polysaccharide. Inulin has shown to help with toxin elimination and reduce constipation. Further, this tuber is a good source of minerals, especially potassium and iron.

Balance & Retention

Prebiotics, probiotics and enzymes provide the gut with the tools to properly deal with waste and ensure proper digestion and nutritient absorption

Aloe Leaf: Used for thousands of years, aloe has been long been known for its healing qualities when applied externally. Turns out, it also helps to lower inflammation in the gut too along with improving bowel regularity and easing heartburn symptoms. Bacillus coagulans: Featuring Lactospore, this spore-forming and lactic acid producing probiotic helps support the growth of friendly bacteria, while also maintaining a healthy pH in the intestinal environment.

Fructooligiosaccarides: This prebiotic is a type of short chain sugars, that feed our good bacteria, essentially food for our gut flora. FOS is found in several fruits and vegetables, most notably, bananas, chicory, and Jerusalem artichokes.

Inulin: This is a type of fiber found in many root vegetables, that studies have shown may aid in the absorption of calcium. Research also indicates that it can help with weight loss, as it helps us to feel fuller longer.

DigeZymes: DigeZyme is made up of the 3 key digestive enzymes; Amylase to break down carbohydrates, Protease to break down protein and Lipase to break down fats. Taking digestive enzymes has shown to help improve absorption of nutrients and help keep the digestive system healthy. Bifidobacterium bifidum: Often recommended to help with IBS symptoms, this common strain is found primarily in the colon, but also supports vaginal health.

Bifidobacterium longum: Considered part of the gut microbiota and its production of lactic acid, B. longum helps prevent the growth of harmful bacteria in our gut lining.

Lactobacillus acidophilus: One of the most popular and well-known probiotics, acidophilus, has shown to improve IBS symptoms, help lower cholesterol, and support vaginal flora.

Chicory Root: Common Chicory root is often used as a coffee substitute for its flavor and digestive benefits. Ancient Egyptians used chicory root to help support liver functions while this amazing root has also been known to help with lowering anxiety, boosting immunity, and relieving constipation.

“NewGreens is like drinking a big organic salad… Except it actually tastes good. Won’t ever go back to Athletic Greens or any of those other green drinks because they taste so bad.” -Jon Freeman
